Teaching and leading in dentistry

Dr. Richard Vermillion serves as adjunct faculty at Temple University School of Dentistry. He teaches third and fourth year dental students one day a week in the school clinic and lectures to both students and fellow faculty. Dr. Jennifer Vermillion serves as visiting faculty at the Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida. She travels to Florida yearly to teach practicing dentists from across the United States at this prestigious non-profit continuing education institute.

Professionally, both Drs. Vermillion are members of the American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry and active in several dental learning groups focused on comprehensive care, occlusion, TMD, orthodontics and restorative dentistry. In addition to Dr. Jennifer teaching at the L.D. Pankey Institute, Dr. Richard currently serves on their Board of Advisors.
Community and Family
Community involvement is important to both Drs. Vermillion. They have been involved in their children’s activities having led and volunteered in various youth organizations throughout the years and are active with volunteer work within their community.
Drs. Vermilion are lifelong residents of Carbon County and currently reside in Summit Hill. They have two grown sons, Ethan and Maxwell.
