Drs. Richard and Jennifer Vermillion provide customized clear-aligner orthodontic treatment for adults, including cases that combine tooth alignment with restorative dentistry.
It starts with a scan of your teeth. There are no gross molds here since we use the iTero Element intraoral scanner for our records.
Clear Aligner Treatment for Adults
Our office offers both CandidPro® and Invisalign® clear aligner treatment. Each system uses a series of customized, removable aligners to gradually move the teeth. After evaluating your bite, smile, oral health, and treatment goals, we will recommend the option best suited to your individual needs.
How Clear Aligner Treatment Works
Digital Scanning
Treatment begins with a comfortable digital scan of your teeth using our iTero Element® intraoral scanner. This creates a detailed three-dimensional model without the need for traditional impression material.
Personalized 3D Treatment Planning
Using advanced treatment-planning software, we create a customized sequence of tooth movements based on your bite, smile, oral health, and restorative needs.
For patients who need crowns, veneers, implants, or other dental treatment, clear aligner therapy can often be coordinated with the restorative plan to create a more predictable and natural-looking result.
Your Aligner Treatment
You will receive a series of clear, removable aligners designed to gradually move your teeth into the planned position.
Aligners are generally worn for approximately 22 hours each day and removed for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing. Treatment time varies depending on the complexity of your case and your personalized treatment plan.
Throughout treatment, our doctors monitor your progress and make adjustments when necessary.
